T/T Pangea
The brief for this luxurious limousine tender was to achieve clear headroom within the cabin for eight guests, include a head compartment, maximise the exterior seating and attune it for daytime cruising with optional shade, and closely follow the exterior lines of the mothership.
Compass’ in-house design team set about shaping the hull and coachroof to complement the Espen Øino designed mothership – an Amels 80, and this synergy of line is most apparent in the boldly sweeping topside window, which mimics the mothership’s profile perfectly.
Limousine 11.65m
Compass collaborated with Sinot Architecture and Design to create a stunning interior with walnut panelling, leather seating, and subtle lighting. Interior amenities include the head compartment, galley unit, and a top-spec audiovisual setup.
The limousine reaches a 42-knot top speed and a SeaKeeper stabiliser keeps her level even in a swell. There’s a boarding door height-matched to the mothership to port and a door at a higher position to starboard for access to the cockpit,
with the cabin entered via electric doors with an opening sunroof. Sporty yet exceptionally comfortable, this was a truly custom project from start to finish with a great deal of technical detailing and owner input. The tender was completed in a 15-month timeframe and attention to detail was paramount at every stage, she is a Compass through and through.
