The client asked us to design something as beautiful as the mothership, which would be “comfortable and relaxed for me, my family and friends.”
The tender’s naval architecture is by Allseas Design, and Compass collaborated with Jarkko Jämsén of Navia Design for both the exterior styling and the interior. Together, we devised practical and elegant design solutions and found new ways to elevate the guest experience during the tender’s operation.
Limousine 12m
The tender features multiple styling characteristics taken from the mothership with window, coachroof lines, and the bow shape all matching. The interior was inspired by Scandinavian commuter boats and replicates details of the mothership’s decks and beach club, as well as bringing a fun twist on traditional yachting style with an orange accent colour.
Beautiful, curved teak panelling with accoutrements such as speakers and climate-control vents concealed within it, was crafted by Compass’ in-house carpentry team.
Natural finishes and plush memory-foam seating create a quiet cocoon for guest transportation to/from shore. And whilst all the expected AV/IT systems are present, nothing is visible. An innovative and notable feature of the interior design are the electric raise-and-lower arm rests that transform the seating layout at the touch of a button.
The tender has a 45-knot top speed with excellent acceleration and seakeeping. Her high-performance capabilities represent the culmination of our near-twenty years’ experience designing and building full-custom superyacht tenders. A Seakeeper gyro stabilisation system was also fitted to enhance the ride comfort.
The tender can be boarded via port and starboard steps to aft, or on the port side forward where you descend a generously sized stairway into the forward cockpit.
This tender captures the essence of the motorship in a truly special way – it’s immediately apparent as you approach the tender and then step into the cabin space.
